A few hours left of 2006...did it make u or break u? resolutions attained or disregarded? Hmm...I would say it was a good yr for DP... though this has been our first yr or so together... we forged new friendships wif a lot of ppl, shared the stage wif great bands in the local gigs... one band tat really catches my attention, has to be none other than Melanie murder... we hope to be part of more gigs in the coming year.
There has been a sudden lapse in activity for dp eversince total metalcore ended. Haha watdafuck... The band has been completely silent from practice sessions and wat nots... There's no plans from the band about whatever though there have been a sudden flow of creative forces between milah and boya...yerp, a few originals have been produced but haha... we'll see about tat... damn. haha.. I dunno wat else to blog about.. ok ok;for us, I think if we have to name a few events which was memorable, these would be the list:
Worst Gig event winner: The one at ij, by skreenprint productions... fantastic crowd of none. Haha coz we were the first to play.
Best Gig nominees: - our first gig ever at IJ... It was a first! - I cant recall the event name, but I think it was Agression Please. I think the one where Odds of Stella played their first also. - Our second time playing at GasHaus... whatever event tat was.
Most Anti-Climatic event winner: Total Metalcore. Period.
I woke up yesterday to a day so bright, I only had one thing in mind, to get the band together and go take some band shots...after much deliberation, we got our act together. But as always, someway, somehow, we couldn't get sufran no matter how hard we tried. And he will always be left out of our band shots...fucking crap anak Bengali! Nanti complain!!! Anak haroun...in the end, senoi became the fotographer of the day. This was all a last minute thing, and the results of the shot was just marginal. It’s raya haji today... I haven't been helping my uncle out for two straight years. Whatever...wif a head full of dreads, the only thing I'll get is laser sharp eyes from the "org-org kuat" kat masjid. Raya haji doesn't bring much meaning anyways. haha all I'd get most raya haji will be bau kambing...hhaha... anyways,saya bagi pihak dying portrait menyusun 50 jari kaki dan 50 jari tangan dan memohon ampun andai ada salah silap, terkasar bahasa, tercuri rokok, terkebas lighter dan macam macam lagi kalau ada ter-sana, ter-sini...maafkanlah saja kami sesungguhnya kami ni semua lamb of god.
Tonite also, setelah bersembahyang raya di pagi raya, ramai budak2 hingus akan kembali ke jalan songsang, menyambut tahun baru disamping perempuan dan botol2 air minuman keras... jauhilah kami dari itu tuhan...sesungguhnya kalau kami meminum air syaithan, maka syaithan syaithan sejagat tiada air untuk minum... haha ok, pardon my god speech everyone.. haha
2007 coming rite up, 2006 came and gone in the blink of an eye... I'm wishing everyone reading this a happy new year. things wont be happy always, but at the start of the yr, I hope it will be happy. some poor kid might lose their life tonight to some random acts of senseless violence, some parents might be broken their kid will die, some pets will be orphans. have a blessed and safe party to all ppl who reads this before countdown. Those who don't read this before 2007, and only come across this after ushering in 2007, thank god u live and see the new year. Keep it safe. Coz u never when and where doom may strike.. haha
on a more serious note, I've missed my frens. Namely hiddir, george, sara, dayah and the gang. I'm sorry guys... I know I've always been too busy to spare time for u all.. sara I hope I forgive me.. I've been too caught up wif my new found love for painting and sparing too much time wif the band.. but these are the only two thing tat kept me going in my lonely and boring life.. I know I should have make more time for u ppl.. the people tat matters. George I hope u do well when u get to Australia and come back here. Happy new year guys..
