it was supposed to be project pop or project x, watever they decided on, consisting of deedee, joe, boya, raymond and milah. matters have to complicate for joe.. conscription for his part. and the morning before the gig, deedee met with an accident. at the point of time, no one had any idea as to how badly injured he was. we only knew tat he had to be warded.. so to us, tat was to a certain degree of seriousness.
so boya called upon hariz a/l sidek to fill in for deedee. and two nites before, naaz was called to take up bass position.. after a few reshuffling, it came to this: basically it was us playing, with the two vocals of dead since 13. and it was all an eleventh hour thing. esp for hariz who was called in like a few hours before the gig. still, i think we did ok and we were having fun for most part of the show. from the lame pranks and our rowdy attitude.
yesterday was also the day i decided i shall fulfill my promises to mum about cutting them dreads away. a promise is still a promise though i was a week late in keeping it. so yeah, after i got home from the gig, i was quite emotional and reluctant to cut it away. but i did. and kept two of it. haha it's like i have two fucking long sideburns. and it was certainly an orgasmic experience getting to shampoo and scrubbing yr scalp after almost two months not getting the full satisfaction of doing so. so yah, i'm anti-ketombe now.
